We set up everything with our Bluecurve Gateway with the app. However, none of our devices are able to see the wifi show up, and searching for it does not work. We’ve reset the bluecurve multiple times, set up the gateway multiple times, pressed the reset button, unplugged, waited 30 seconds, and plugged it back in, tried other places to connect the bluecurve, and called the support line.
Now we are stuck on what to do. Anybody??
Did you get an agent on the line when you phoned? Did he/she go through any troubleshooting steps at all? If not I’d recommend reaching out to Shaw via online chat as it seems to be their preferred method of client initiated contact. You’re likely to get an agent within a few minutes (as is my experience) who can help troubleshoot the issue with you. I troubleshot a failing PVR box a few months back and the online agent was very thorough and helpful.
I did get in touch with an agent and we went through a bunch of troubleshooting. However, neither agents (I called twice) were able to fix the problem. One agent said that the bluecurve may be broken or defective

That is possible. Did the agent offer to use Canada Post to ship you another BlueCurve? They should have.
Another possibility is that the BlueCurve may have been previously used by some previous Shaw customer, who may have configured it to disable the WiFi networks (2.4 Ghz & 5.0 Ghz),

Check that the app shows that the WiFi is "enabled". Will the app let you do a "factory reset" ?
I'm kinda late to the party but I found a fix for me and that was to open the blue curve app, hit connect then hit see network there should be a pencil at the top right (edit button) then look for Broadcast WIFI name, hidden your Wi-Fi name then hit apply. Go back in to the same place wait for it to update and broadcast your Wi-Fi name again. It worked for me hope this helps others.
I am having same problem. The bluecurve modem is not broadcasting WIFI. I called and they said I need a technician to come out. It was working hours ago so it is pretty strange. They booked me for Friday so I am apparantly dead for all wifi until then. I tried to do the stuff the guy at the bottom said and it told me "We're having some Trouble". The rest of the modem is working fine for ethernet connection.
Did support do any troubleshooting? Power cycle, maybe do a factory reset.
Yes, we did a full range of troubleshooting (the support was really good) including a reset and it didn't help. It appears that the WIFI broadcast on the modem is not working. The modem was plugged into a UPS so it is unlikely it was damaged in a power surge - must just be a crappy modem that failed. (Its a "blue curve" one - non name brand). The ethernet part works fine so at least I have internet and I plugged one of my tv blue curve pods into a hub and it so I have a tv that works. Only issue is that without WIFI I have several electronics that don't have internet - my security system, my cells, etc. I was considering going out and getting a backup hub with WIFI but since the tech will be out tomorrow it probably isn't worth it. At least we still have DVDs for the second tv....
