I have an overdue account that I think went to collections with NCO Financial but I would rather deal with Shaw directly and pay it off

Old overdue account that I didn’t realize went to collections and want to know how to clear this up so it is no longer on my credit bureau

Kirk, If that was only the case.  I have tried to work with your agents 7-8 times (even though I returned the equipment, paid collections, and received a refund due to Shaw’s error) to get this removed from my credit report.

I have never been so frustrated or disappointed with a company.  My credit rating went from 859 to 775 … and I keep getting told yes we will address it and they have failed to do so over the last 6 months.

I guess that was my parting gift from Shaw after being a customer on and off for 20+ years.

same thing happened to me for an amount of $20. They treat their customers like garbage

@LeeBails -- $20 sounds like you cancelled a two-year Value Plan with just over one month remaining on the contracct.  The "fine print" that you signed allows them to invoice you $20/month for each month, if you cancel the contract.

Would you rather have paid the full price for that "final month" -- maybe over $200, rather than paying the $20 fee ?  😞

I have Shaw in my home now but now I have collections coming at me regarding a final bill 5 yrs ago n it's on my credit via collections ...ORION DEBTPURCHASE-SHAW COMM....I've called shaw now Rodgers they cannot even find this bill ...I have never not paid plus lost in how I received no email or any form of communication while still being a current costumer lol like wtf ...now it's taken 23 points of my credit score and I have noone helping me address it lol past frustrated
