I’ve had nothing but issues with shaw and their internet, the plans they offer are shocking, the best plan has 20 upload which is abysmal especially considering in my household where there’s 7 people living here and always using the internet.
ANYWAY! I’ve had multiple techs come out and talked to many, many people about these issues and by far the best tech I had come out didn’t even work for SHAW! Fancy that one, he tried his best to fix what he could even went as far as checking the back telephone pole and saying the tap that sends the signal into the house is damaged and which causes the dropping on the signal to the house by 10db and which was looked at in July!!! We’re in November pretty much going into December and still to this day it hasn’t been fixed, I was even on vacation at one point calling in to see if they had any news about a fix and of course no one had any email that was sent out by the first rep I talked to and honestly no surprise.
ive had enough of the internet and trying to find out good levels and if I can get a tech out that can replace one wire in my house because at the end of the day I get told so many different answers I just want to f**king shove the bill I get every month down someone’s throat because I pay for this **bleep**!!
the XB6 modem is **bleep** and I believe everyone can agree, I don’t know why you guys couldn’t stick with a newer hitron model for the bluecurve like the Shaw Business has but we will never know so why am I asked.
im just wanting some help to see if the signals on my modem below are good and I want someone to come out and see if there are any improvements that can be made. I need decent help from someone because my internet cuts out and restarts multiple times and sometimes even gets stuck on the green flashing light. HELP!!!!
@DGRJoiner sorry to hear of the ongoing issues you've experienced. I understand your need for more upload bandwidth and would recommend checking out our business plans which can offer up to 125 Mbps upload. I took a quick look into your account and don't see any problems with the signal, potential errors or area issues.
Do you have any 3rd party router/switches attached to the BlueCurve modem? Did you experience any issues with other hardware previously?
