Hey folks. I'm in Maple Ridge, and 5 times in the last week my internet cuts out and doesn't come back until 1-5 minutes have passed. Is anyone else seeing this?
I live in Somerset and it has happened twice today. Also went off yesterday.
@BrianJStafford -- at what time of day/evening/night?
For a list of outages in the Lower Mainland, see:

OK?
@davegriffin -- which "Somerset" ? Somerset Amica in Victoria? Somerset Heights in Kelowna".

Somerset area in Calgary.
Have also lost connection twice this morning.
Yesterday this happened during these times (not sure of exact times):
- Once between 10:00 am - 11:00 am PDT
- Once between 3:30 pm - 3:45 pm PDT
- 5 times between 5:00 pm - 5:45 pm PDT
@BrianJStafford & @davegriffin -- is this still happening?
Do you have neighbours who also subscribe to Shaw/Rogers service, who experience an outage at the same time? If they do, it's probably not your computer, not the cable-modem, not the coaxial-cables inside the walls of your home, and not the coaxial-cable going out to the nearest telephone-pole.
Spoke to an Agent and he told me that the problem was with the modem. A tech is scheduled for next Saturday to check and replace it. I asked if I could swap it out at a Shaw/Rogers store myself but he said this wasn't possible. Not happy with the process.
@davegriffin It is most likely a signal issue, which would require a visit. In the meantime, you can make sure all the cable connections are secure.
That is what the Agent said. Saturday the internet went off once, about 8:10 am and today it has gone offline twice, at 8:18 am and 12:18 pm. I would buy my own modem if I could.
