its a little bit infuriating that i cannot configure my home internet from my home computer. why is there no windows/mac app or interface to do so? i do not use iphone/android, and i should not have to borrow a phone to setup a new wifi pod.
@cgaines I had the gen. 1 pods, they weren’t worth it, no configuration options and I didn’t want to pay monthly. I ended up getting a Netgear mesh extender, it allows me to block certain devices and assign devices to a particular band.
I agree, Rogers should have a web-based option for setting up the pods.
i tried several before breaking down and ordering theirs, they sent a 2nd gen. no matter what i did with 3rd party ones, the speed was always crap.
after accepting that there was no other way, i borrowed a phone and got theirs going, and like "magic", im getting the speeds id expect. all i needed was a simple web interface, like every other extender has.
