Not Receiving Emails

Can you tell me why I'm not receiving emails on my iPhone? It was working yesterday morning, but have not been receiving anything. It keeps checking for emails, but it comes up saying "Account Error: Exchange. Cannot Get Mail. The connection to the server failed."

I have not changed any of my settings, so is this a Roger's problem?

Please fix this as I wasn't having a problem until Rogers changed it to "Xfinity Internet". I'm paying good money for this and this is not acceptable. Very disappointing.

Shaw is reporting a system problem but don't appear to be making any progress. It's impacting only certain users. Impacts are primarily syncing to 3rd party email applications. Webmail is fine, for the most part. They can't or will not provide details or an estimated time to repair. For some users this has been going on since the Nov 25 system-wide outage.  Reference Shaw ticket INC1601446

I have contacted Shaw numerous times now.   Initially, they reported that it was not a Shaw problem since it related to 3rd party apps (Apple Mail).  When I called back and said it only applied to one of my accounts and mentioned the outage, they admitted that yes, they were having some issues and it was being investigated.  It has now been over a week for me without mobile access to email.  They told me to use Webmail but even webmail is not acting normally (takes a long time for mail to load and display).  It is not an easy way to handle my email.

POP works but will not bring up my folders.  For now, forwarding to another account will handle new emails but it is imperative that my old folders be accessible.  There is no efficient way to handle exporting my old mail.  If anyone has any suggestions that does not involve using IMAP, it would be greatly appreciated.  Oh and gmail import is not possible while these problems are existing.

I’ve been having this problem for five days now. I’ve called Shaw they are of no help! It seems like they don’t know what the problem is either. It’s extremely frustrating.
