I have 9000 emails, and every time I delete them, they re-appear! It’s been going on for 5 years! I’ve called before but nobody seems to be able to help me. I’m sure it’s some setting that needs to be changed. I go to the server and that’s the only way I can get things to stay deleted. I’m missing important emails and it’s very time consuming to delete hundreds of emails to have them reappear minutes later. Any suggestions?
@Sheilam458 are you using a 3rd party email program to manage your emails or are you using https://webmail.shaw.ca/ directly? What are some troubleshooting steps you've tried so far?
I’m using the Shaw webmail. I’ve looked at my settings and don’t see anything weird, and so far, the only way I can delete emails is when I go directly to webmail. They still show on my iPhone and iPad, but when I delete them from the iPad/iPhone, they stay deleted. Otherwise, everything either reappears when refreshed or immediately. The second I hit delete, it goes away, then immediately reappears. No refreshing needed.
Power-off your iPad. Delete some messages via your iPhone. Do they stay "deleted", or are they just moved to the "Deleted Items" folder?

If you delete them from that "Deleted Items" folder, are they permanently gone?
