Is it possible to remotely restart my modem/router if it has become disconnected while I’m away. I recently lost all communications with my in home devices (camera, thermostat, plugs etc.) while on holidays for no apparent reason. I had to have someone go to my house and manually reset my modem/router. Is there anyway to do this remotely.
If you telephone Shaw Support, they should be able to restart the modem/router, assuming that it is powered-on, and that it will respond to their remote access.
@rosstrilsbeck if you have our BlueCurve modem you should be able to reset your modem through the app with the BlueCurve home app. I have more details on that here.
So what do I do now? I tried to reset it myself but it didn't work. So I have no TV now!
@Barbara1946 what other troubleshooting steps have you tried so far to get your TV working?
