I live in a triplex and recently installed a smart EV charger that is on our common circuit ( panel). The charger comes with a PLC unit that allows the charger to communicate with our home Wi-Fi but only if it is on the same circuit as the Wi-Fi modem. Can I somehow bridge these two circuits using a Shaw pod and Ethernet cable? My thought was to plug in the PLC to the common circuit and plug in the pod on our home circuit and connect them together via an Ethernet cable. Could this work?
