My wired connection also crashes every night after midnight for a duration of 10 to 15 minutes. It never happens at exactly the same time....just sometime after midnight and 6 am. Every f**king night. If it was exactly the same time I could game around it...but no, it is random within the aforementioned parameters.
@Smaenge -- which cable-modem do you have? If it is "restarting" every night, is it possible to schedule the time-window for the restart to some hour (5 AM?) when you are asleep?
Physically, where are you? Is it also happening to your neighbours?
