The Shaw BlueCurve PVR was recently updated to show annoying tips during the screensaver. Previously it only displayed scenery images. There is no ability to turn off these tips and this change was not communicated to Shaw technical support staff, so I spent hours communicating with various Shaw support staff via chat, phone, and the feedback form until someone finally confirmed this change. Please contact Shaw if you want this feature removed.
