Learn how to use the Netflix app with Shaw TV and Shaw Stream to access the Netflix content library. The Netflix app and content library are seamlessly integrated into the Shaw TV platform, allowing us to freely binge watch all our favourite shows in one place. Requirements
The Netflix app and content is visible to all Shaw TV customers. To access and watch Netflix on Shaw TV, it is required to have:
Plan options, pricing and billing are handled directly by Netflix. See Netflix Streaming Plans for more information.
Shaw Internet Service
Shaw Internet service is required because Netflix content is streamed to Shaw TV over the Internet, and Netflix usage will count toward your monthly Internet usage.
Netflix content will not appear in the Shaw TV Kids Zone, however there is a kids section within the Netflix app itself.
Sign up from Shaw TV
Sign up for Netflix directly from your Shaw TV set-top box. Signing up for Netflix via Shaw TV will automatically add your Netflix subscription to your Shaw bill. Learn how to sign up for Netflix.
You may also sign out of Netflix at any time, allowing you to sign back in using a different account.
Viewing History
Only Netflix titles launched from the Shaw TV interface will show up in Shaw TV history (ie Last Watched). All titles watched thereafter within the Netflix app will not show up in Shaw TV history.
Titles watched in Netflix will only appear in 'Recently Watched' in the Saved menu if they have manually been marked 'Watched'
