This is just curiosity. I purchased a brand new (2019) version tv. Specifically
I tried basically every code with the Shaw remote (Champ?). Unfortunately none of them work. I am just wondering if there will be a code update anytime soon. I am getting used to using two remotes, but it would just be nice if I only had to use one

Thank you for reaching out! Using two remotes is certainly not the best experience. I was able to locate a code here. Can you try "2434" to see if it works? Keep me posted.

Ah, can you also try the standard way here? It should cycle through all possible codes. Alternatively, you can pick up a Champion remote to see if that will connect to your TV at your local Shaw retailer.
Been there, done that. I may just have to go in and get a different remote. I just need for Mother Nature to stop with this 10 feet of snow per hour.

Any update to this issue? I have this same brand of TV and neither 2434 or the scan works.
