The HDD inside the unit started making very loud clicking sounds and video recordings frequenty stutters and freezes. It is out of warranty. I formatted a spare 2.5" HDD using the PVR by plugging it in as an EXT drive. I then replaced the bad drive with this one.
After booting up, none of my channels appear in the list and all say (TBA) and get an error message when I try to tune into one of them: There was a problem tuning to the selected channel. Please contact Customer Service: DM00-504
I've already tried rebooting and waiting hours for it to update. I've also went into my Shaw account and refreshed the channels. Any ideas?

Unfortunately not. After several calls to Shaw, they did replace the unit though (with a refurbished model). Works fine now.
