I've been trying to contact Shaw/Rogers bulk account team without success. I bought into an Ignite value package (internet/tv) about 16 months ago (still have 8 months to go). In that period I have bought a condo and the association has a bulk account for TV with Shaw included in the fees. Unfortunately I have to finish off the Ignite commitment or buy it out so I'm using it until it's over and plan to start using the condo supplied package then. However, the condo package uses the old Arris box with no PVR. I'm trying to find out from Shaw if I can add a physical PVR or upgrade the existing condo package to more modern equipment. So far I haven't been able to talk (chat) with a person that can help. Anyone have some knowledge they can share? Appreciate any help or contact info.
@cjacques1955 Any customer service agent should be able to help. You will have to pay for any equipment above what is provided in the contract (equipment, channels).

Depending on which town/city you are residing, Shaw/Rogers is "retiring" all the Arris TV boxes. So, can you contact Shaw, and upgrade to their current hardware (XB7 or XB8 cable-modem) and XiONE wireless TV adapter? Be sure to tell them of the "bulk" package with your Condo Owners Association, to get accurate pricing.
Does the condo offer a TV channel that narrow-casts an image from a camera at the main entrance to your building?
Is your building scheduled for Shaw to do a technology upgrade for all the units?
With 8 months to go, your cancellation fee will be $30/month (if you have TV & Internet). Contrast that with your current monthly payment amount.

. I’m in Thunder Bay at 165 Court St N. I’m not aware of any upgrade plans. I believe there is at least 2 years left on the condo/Shaw contract.
@cjacques1955 Talk to a member of the strata council or the strata manager, see if they have any contact info, they are the ones paying the bill.
Ignite won’t work with the front door camera.
