I can not delete a favourite channel

Rogers appaently removed the ability to delete a channel in my favourites that now requires a subscription. That is slimy...

@Tgilecki  Strange. You could try removing the favourite in the app. Another option would be to re-subscribe to the channel, remove the favourite and then unsubscribe.

Having to subscribe first, then remove favourite, then unsubscribe may work, but is definitely cumbersome.  In addition, one doesn't know if there would be a charge for subscribing that isn't completely reversed when you unsubscribe a few minutes later.

It appears that whoever designed to software never anticipated the possibility that one might end up having channels on the Favourites list that one wasn't subscribed to.  This really should be addressed via a software update.

I agree. Just tried to remove a channel from my fav list as I cancelled the channel yesterday. There is no way to do it.

Yep! Shaw please give us the option WITHOUT having to subscribe that channel again.

I agree. 

The software tricked me with the guide "Free to Me", so I added qty 4  channels as favourite, then l later  checked out the channels,

which are not free and can't remove.
