Recording a Show

When trying to record a show such as Saturday Night Live, it shows as “Live” rather than “New” and doesn’t record. Is there a way to fix this?

@Loene55 -- which PVR do you have? An "antique" Motorola? Pace? Gateway? BlueCurve?

Are you trying to record at 8:30 PM (11:30 PM in New York) or at 11:30 PM (Pacific) ?

I have BlueCurve. I was having issues with recordings of Saturday night live last year but was hopeful it would be fixed this year. It played for about 30 seconds then asked if I wanted to delete it. And it showed it as watched and it wasn't watched. Now I can't access that episode anywhere. What is the problem?
