Install it yourself
You can install the Ignite Indoor/Outdoor Camera (Wired)TM yourself if you're comfortable doing so. Depending on where you want to install it, you may need the following tools and supplies:
- Drill or impact drill (if drilling through masonry)
- Drill bits: 1/8”, 1/4”, 5/8”
- Stud finder
- Mallet or hammer
- Ladder or step stool
- Silicone sealant.
If you need to extend the ethernet cable, you can use:
- RJ45 Coupler (rated for indoor or outdoor location)
- Cat 5e ethernet cable, with connectors (maximum 100ft length)

Install it yourself
You can install the Ignite Doorbell Camera (Wired)TM yourself if you're comfortable doing so. Depending on your current doorbell setup, you may need the help of a licensed electrician before you can proceed with installation. When you're ready to install, you may need the following tools and supplies:
- Drill or impact drill
- 1/4” masonry drill bit (if drilling through masonry)
- #2 Phillips screwdriver
- Mallet or hammer
- Needle-nose pliers
- Ladder or step stool
- Silicone sealant to seal the area around the doorbell against moisture.
