Shaw HTML Webmail users have been updated from HTML to AJAX to improve performance and usability. Some familiar features may have been moved to a new place or updated with a new option. This document will show you the updated features to help assist with the changes.

Note: You will only notice these changes if your Webmail preferences were set to use HTML instead of AJAX. After this update, the previous version using HTML is no longer available or supported.

What is AJAX

AJAX stands for Asynchronous JavaScript and XML. AJAX is a new technique for creating better, faster, and more interactive web applications. The AJAX client is a more modern, feature rich client compared to HTML, which is an older, outdated style of interface that is prone to malfunctioning or failing.
