Issues with linking devices
Follow these steps if you're unable to link a smart home device to the Ignite HomeConnect App:
- Make sure your Ignite HomeConnect App is updated to the latest version from your app store.
- Ensure your smart home device is added to its included third party app (from the manufacturer).
- Confirm you have properly added the device to Ignite HomeConnect by following these steps.
- Log out and back in to the Ignite HomeConnect App.
- If possible, try setting it up on a different mobile device using the Ignite HomeConnect App.
- Uninstall and re-install the Ignite HomeConnect App on your mobile device.
Issues with controlling a linked device
If you're unable to control a smart home device after linking it to the Ignite HomeConnect App, follow these steps:
- Ensure that the device in question can be controlled through the manufacturer's app.
- Make sure your Ignite HomeConnect App is updated to the latest version from your app store.
- Log out and back in to the Ignite HomeConnect App.
- Unlink and re-add the smart home device in question.
- Uninstall and re-install the Ignite HomeConnect App on your mobile device.
