Why can't I find the Bluecurve Home App in Play Store, other Shaw apps are there?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Finally got to the bottom of this, the BlueCurve Home app requires Android 7 to work not 6.
@tiger955 you can still access your BlueCurve via the website https://internet.shaw.ca/ if you are looking to make some changes.
@tiger955 -- from a Shaw Support web-page:
Mobile app
Download the free Shaw BlueCurve Home app (Apple App Store or Google Play) and sign in with your Shaw ID username and password.
Supported Mobile Operating Systems
iOS 11 or later and Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) or later are supported. Windows phones and Amazon phones are not supported.
What device do you have? What level of Operating System?
I have a Samsung tab3 with android 4.?? & a Sony Z2 with 6.0.1. Neither show the app in google play, I only see it when using the link from my laptop.

Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) or later are supported.
Can you update the Operating System on your Tab3 ?
I have nothing to recommend about the Sony Z2.
Not able to update OS. But surely Google Play should display all apps regardless of O/S version.

It annoys me that Apple's Store displays apps, e.g., CIBC, that require a newer version of IOS than I have on my older iPad -- because Apple stopped supporting my iPad. So, if I want the CIBC app on my iPad, I would have to replace my iPad.
I think that it would be nice to allow me to "show only those apps that I can install".
mdk I have the same issue with my Tab3!
Can you get the Shaw Bluecurve Home App?
@tiger955 the app supports Android 6.0 & up, do you have your region set to Canada? If it is set to other regions such as the US, it will not show up.
Under Account/Country and Profiles it is set to Canada.
When I search for 'shaw bluecurve home', I get BlueCurve TV; Go Gateway; Go WiFi Finder & SmartVoice.
Same result with VPN turned off.
Just found you could install from laptop to my devices, it says 'This item is not compatible with your devices' !!
So it appears it does't support Android 6.0.1 !!
What can I do now?
