My Shaw Bluecurve Gateway app states "We're experiencing an outage"... "A Shaw service outage has been reported in your area"

 

Yet, the outage webpage on Shaw's domain that this Bluecurve app prompt links to says there are 0 outages in the lower mainland. What gives?

 

Is there an outage or not? When will it be fixed?

 

My internet went down at about 6:30 PM. Came back within about 20 minutes. Down again at 8:00 PM.

 

Bluecurve app says my gateway is not connected... Fair enough, I'll use the 'test' option in the app. "Checking Gateway"...  "Gateway online" "Checking gateway"... "Gateway online" on repeat.

 

Every single time there is an outage- there has never once been any communication or otherwise any way at all for me to see what is going on.

For an outage affecting the services in your neighbourhood, check your account on the My Shaw website or the My Shaw App and look for an alert banner.
