Hi - we have shaw blue curve & are using the Shaw Home app's Parental Control feature to control access to the kid's devices to reasonable limits.

Every device seems to work except my son's laptop - we restrict access to the device within the app - however every time he uses it - the name of the device changes slightly & is no longer recognised as restricted.

Sop for example we restrict access to his device which is named LAPTOP-UH9FLTR and we can see that this device is listed as restricted within the app (list of devices assigned to him).

Next time he logs on the device is renamed for example to LAPTOP-UH9FLTR-51.

We restrict access to LAPTOP-UH9FLTR-51 & next time he logs on it is renamed LAPTOP-UH9FLTR-62 for examples - and so on it goes.

How is his device getting renamed every time - is this a fault of the app, something he has set up on his own (he is only 12) or some other trick i am missing.
