@scottjsmith Same here, I am having issues trying to playback recordings and live TV and no casting. The TV screen just says “Ready to Cast”
Also having the same issue, it connects to Chromecast, but won't play any media, just sits there with the Shaw symbol and Ready to cast, no error message, just eventually times out and closes.
Rebooted everything, router, phone, TV, Chromecast.
Deleted the App and re installed, no change.
@shaw-daniel I was told that Shaw doesn’t support casting and to contact Google support. All my other apps cast fine, so I won’t be talking to Google. It is an issue with the app and will just wait and see if it gets resolved.

It is totally a Shaw TV app issue.
@stewarste Thanks for the heads up. When reporting the BlueCurve TV app casting issue to our tech support team, they can collect more examples and escalate your case to our back-end engineering team for further investigation.
Same problem , I’ve been trying to resolve this for 2 days now, tried everything twice, multiple tvs , resets , downloads, the works over and over. No results . Just say ready to cast on the tv and no media selected on the app
