Chromebook and Shaw blue curve tv

when I try to play live TV on my acer flip 713 chromebook, I get an error message
It says "playback issue 2111    We are sorry but we are unable to play this video right now.   Please try a different channel or program"  It is like that with all the channels   Can this be fixed

Try rebooting the device or un-installing and re-installing the app. Does it work through the browser?

I have rebooted, un-installed and re-installed and it still doesn't work.

If you find issues using the Google play store application then uninstall it and try using the chrome browser instead. Worked for me, using an ASUS CM3000DV device.
