In particular -Keep Your Recordings: You can keep your recordings for up to one year, but you may need to erase some recorded programs from time to time in order to make room for new ones.

So it appears that 1 year is it. It would be nice if Shaw hopped on here once in a while to answer these questions

I would like to know this too. Seems there was no answer to this since the question was first posted. No, the pvr is not full. It seems to be older shows just vanish, even though they are recorded with “keep until I delete”. So maddening

@mseneka / @GrahamM  -- maybe it was close to being full, and so it deleted a larger (2.5 hour HD movie?) recording, to become "less full", even after the most-recent (shorter?) recording?

I wish it were that simple, the pvr was 80-85 full last Friday, I taped and deleted two shows (90min total) over the weekend, and today went to watch things and noticed 57% full, no new recordings but older programs gone. Does Shaw only let you keep content no more than one year or something?

Try disconnecting the electrical power from the PVR, waiting 30 seconds, and then reconnect the power, and let it restart. Still the same numbers/programs? If so, you're out-of-luck. If not, the PVR "glitched" when it showed 57%.

The really-bad news is that the disk-drive inside the PVR could be "dying", and thus is not always correctly recording programs, and/or updating its "Table-Of-Contents".

Not on my "antique" PVR.  On it, I have content from 2015.
