Rogers Xfinity mobile app not opening/responding
Rogers Xfinity is supported on Apple iOS 11 or later and Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) or later. After trying each of the steps, check whether it fixed your issue before moving on to the next step.
For Apple iOS devices
- Restart your Apple iOS device.
- Force quit the Rogers Xfinity app to completely shut down the app.
- Open the app switcher, then swipe up on the Rogers Xfinity app to close it.
- Reinstall the Rogers Xfinity (Shaw) app.
- Touch and hold the Rogers Xfinity app icon, and then tap the X icon in the corner to delete the app it from your device.
- Tap the App Store from your home screen, then locate the Rogers Xfinity (Shaw) app and reinstall it.
- Check for iOS updates.
- Tap Settings your home screen, then choose General - Check for Updates.
- Check for Rogers Xfinity app updates.
- Open the App Store on your iOS device, then tap Updates. If an update is available for the Rogers Xfinity app, tap Update.
For Android devices
- Restart your Android device.
- Force stop the Rogers Xfinity app to completely shut down the app.
- Open your device's Settings app.
- Tap Apps.
- Tap the Rogers Xfinity app.
- Tap Force stop.
- Clear the app's cache from your device storage.
- Open your device's Settings app.
- Tap Apps.
- Tap the Rogers Xfinity app.
- Tap Storage, then Clear cache.
- Clear the app’s data from your device storage. Caution: Any data saved in this app will be erased.
- Open your device's Settings app.
- Tap Apps.
- Tap the Rogers Xfinity app.
- Tap Storage, then Clear data.
- Check for Android updates.
- Open your device's Settings app.
- Near the bottom, tap Software update, and follow the steps on screen to check for updates.
- If needed, first tap About phone or About tablet.
- Check for Rogers Xfinity (Shaw) app updates.
- Open your device's Play Store app.
- Tap the Menu button, and select My apps & games.
- Apps with available updates are labeled "Update".
- If an update is available for Rogers Xfinity(Shaw), tap Update.
