Learn how to manage Rogers Xfinity WiFi Boost Pods (Gen 2) (formerly known as Fibre+ WiFi Pods) on your home network. Pods can be renamed or removed at any time using the Rogers Xfinity App (formerly known as Ignite HomeConnect App). This can be helpful if you're troubleshooting or relocating a pod to a different spot in your home.

How to rename Rogers Xfinity WiFi Boost Pods

  1. Open the Rogers Xfinity App.
  2. Select Connect.
  3. Select See Network.
  4. Select the Pod that you'd like to rename.
  5. Select the Edit button (pencil icon) at the top right.

  6. Select Pod Name, enter a new name for your Pod, then select Apply Changes.

How to remove Rogers Xfinity WiFi Boost Pods from your home network

  1. Make sure the Pod is unplugged from power.
  2. Open the Rogers Xfinity App.
  3. Select Connect.
  4. Select See Network.
  5. Select the Pod you want to remove. Since we unplugged it already, it'll show as offline.

  7. Select Remove Pod again to confirm that you'd like to remove it.

Repeat the steps above to remove additional pods. Or, follow Setting up and activating Rogers Xfinity WiFi Boost Pods  to add Pods to your home.
