Hi there,
Just today, I received a new BlueCurve wireless TV box to replace the wired one I was using, and while the whole set up was quick and painless, I'm having some difficulty pairing the new remote with my TV/AV Receiver. It seems to be stuck in a loop.
If I press the volume up/down on the Shaw remote, a prompt will appear on screen asking if I want to set up the remote pairing. I select that option, then the next screen asks me if I want to pair the remote with my TV, which I select "Yes", which then takes me to a screen that asks me to enter the brand of the TV I want to pair - I enter/select my TV brand, and it goes back to the screen asking if I want to pair my remote with my TV, and if I say "Yes" again, it just goes back to the screen where you search/select the TV brand. It doesn't progress past that point, so I am unable to complete the pairing process. I had no such issue with my previous BlueSky/BlueCurve box.
Same thing happens if I go through the settings menu to pair the remote or press A on the BlueCurve remote.
I think I am probably going to have to talk to someone over chat, but if someone here is able to offer any assistance here, it would be much appreciated.
Do you still have the remote from your wired BlueCurve?
Got to the link below for instructions. Pair your remote using rf pairing, and then program your remote using a setup code.

Hey @Penina! It sounds like you continue to have trouble with pairing your remote. I would recommend checking out our Community link on how to pair your remote here.
If that still doesn't work, this 2nd link might also help with 3rd party devices: https://www.urcsupport.com/shaw/
If you need further assistance, I would recommend reaching out to our Support Specialists at https://www.shaw.ca/contact-us for further assistance.
I hope this helps!
