BlueCurve Pods work with your BlueCurve Gateway, and can activated with ease using the BlueCurve Home app. When you first get your Pods, they can be activated together as a set, or individually at a later time.
Open the BlueCurve Home app on your mobile device.
Sign in using your Shaw ID and password.
Tap More at the bottom-right.
Tap Shaw Device.
Tap BlueCurve Pods.
Tap Get Started.
Plug any Pod into a wall outlet.
Ensure there's at least one room separating the Pod and your BlueCurve Gateway, but that they're no more than 20 to 30 feet apart. The Pod must be visible and not blocked by furniture or other large objects.
Hold your phone close to the Pod (within 6 to 8 inches).
Wait for the Pod to connect.
Plug in your remaining Pods, evenly spaced from each other and your BlueCurve Gateway.
Tap All Pods Ready to Go!
Wait for the remaining Pods to connect.
Tap Name Your Pods.
Choose a Pod to name and hold the mobile device close to that Pod.
Wait for the app to identify which Pod you are naming.
Enter a name and tap Confirm Name.
Repeat steps 16 to 18 until all of your pods are named.
Tap Finish Setup.
Over the next few days, your WiFi network will optimize itself for the best connections. The more Pods you've activated, the longer it will take for your network to become optimized.
You can view and manage your Pods any time in the Network section of the BlueCurve Home app.
